Luxe Star Life Reconstruction ("Luxe Star," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, how we protect it, and the choices available to you when you visit www.theluxestar.com, contact us, complete our forms, book or pay for services, or participate in Luxe Star services.
Luxe Star provides non-clinical, therapy-inspired support, psychoeducation, life reconstruction guidance, and practical planning. Luxe Star does not provide psychotherapy, mental health counseling, diagnosis, medical treatment, or emergency services.
Luxe Star serves clients age 16 and older. Clients who are 16 or 17 must have consent from a parent or legal guardian before receiving services.

The information we collect depends on how you interact with Luxe Star.
Information You Provide Directly

Your name, date of birth, pronouns, address, email address, and telephone number.
Emergency-contact information.
Information submitted through inquiry, Client Profile, intake, consent, check-in, feedback, or referral forms.
Information about your current concerns, relationships, life circumstances, personal history, wellness, support system, and desired direction.
Appointment details, service selections, scheduling preferences, attendance, cancellations, and rescheduling information.
Communications you send to us by email, telephone, text message, website form, social media, or another approved method.
Information a parent or legal guardian provides about a minor client.
Signatures, acknowledgments, and permissions provided through our forms.
Please do not provide information that is not reasonably necessary for us to respond to your inquiry or provide the requested service.
Payment Information
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers such as Stripe. Luxe Star may receive information about the transaction, including the amount, date, payment status, and limited billing details. Luxe Star does not intentionally store complete credit- or debit-card numbers.

You may withdraw your consent by contacting us, but doing so may prevent Luxe Star from continuing to provide services that require the information.
Luxe Star does not sell private intake information, session records, or health-related information for money. We do not authorize advertising providers to access our completed intake forms or session records.

We use third-party companies to operate our website and support forms, scheduling, payments, video sessions, email, text communication, record organization, workflow automation, analytics, and advertising. Our providers may include Squarespace, Jotform, Calendly, Stripe, Zoom, Airtable, Softr, Make, email or telephone providers, website analytics providers, and advertising platforms.
With Luxe Star Team Members
Information may be accessed by Luxe Star practitioners, administrators, contractors, or consultants who need it to provide services, manage operations, process payments, maintain records, or perform another legitimate business function. Access is limited based on role and need.
With Your Permission
We may share information with another person, organization, provider, attorney, benefits professional, or resource when you or your authorized representative have given permission.
For Safety or Legal Reasons
We may use or disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is required or permitted by law, including to:

Where required by law, Luxe Star will honor requests to opt out of the sale of personal data or its use for targeted advertising.
6. Email and Text Communications
If you give permission, Luxe Star may use email or text messages for appointment reminders, forms, administrative updates, payment information, follow-up, and other service-related communications. Promotional communications will be sent only as permitted by law.
Email and ordinary text messaging may not be fully secure. Please avoid sending highly sensitive information by email or text. Communication outside scheduled sessions is limited, and Luxe Star is not available 24 hours a day. Email and text messages must not be used for urgent, crisis, or emergency situations.
You may opt out of promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us. You may opt out of promotional text messages by replying STOP. You may continue to receive communications that are necessary to manage an active appointment, transaction, consent, safety concern, or legal obligation.
7. Virtual Sessions and Recordings
Virtual sessions may be conducted through Zoom or another approved video platform. Luxe Star does not record audio or video from virtual sessions. Clients and other participants may not record a session without prior written permission from Luxe Star and every person participating in the session.
We encourage clients to participate from a private location and use a secure internet connection. Luxe Star cannot control other people, devices, or conditions in the location from which a client participates.
8. Clients Ages 16 and 17
Luxe Star serves clients age 16 and older. Before a client who is 16 or 17 receives services, a parent or legal guardian must complete the required consent process and provide the information needed to confirm their authority to consent.
The parent or legal guardian may provide information needed for booking, payment, consent, safety, and service coordination. The minor client may also provide personal information through Luxe Star's intake forms, check-ins, communications, and sessions.
Luxe Star will explain to the minor client and parent or guardian how the minor's information will be handled and the circumstances in which information may be shared. A parent or guardian may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information concerning the minor, subject to applicable law, Luxe Star's service boundaries, safety considerations, and any information Luxe Star must retain for legal or legitimate business purposes.
Luxe Star does not intentionally use information from a minor's intake forms, session records, check-ins, or private communications for targeted advertising. Advertising pixels should not be placed on intake, consent, check-in, client-record, payment, or virtual-session pages.
9. How We Protect Information
Luxe Star uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. These may include:
Limiting access based on job responsibilities.
Using passwords and available multifactor authentication.
Using reputable service providers and access controls.
Maintaining procedures for storing, transmitting, and disposing of records.
Training team members on privacy and appropriate information handling.
Reviewing access when a team member's role changes or ends.
No system, website, email, text message, video platform, or method of storage is completely secure. Therefore, Luxe Star cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. How Long We Keep Information
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

Complete transactions and maintain financial records.
Resolve disputes and enforce agreements.
Meet safety, insurance, tax, contractual, and legal obligations.

When information is no longer needed, we will take reasonable steps to delete, destroy, anonymize, or securely dispose of it. Backup copies may remain for a limited period until they are overwritten or deleted through routine system processes.
